In the middle of last year, John Witherspoon, who voices Grandad Freeman on the critically acclaimed and controversial show “The Boondocks,” hinted that the series would be returning for another season, despite claims by creator Aaron McGruder that season 3 was the end of the road for the characters.
A few days ago, news broke that Tia Mowry of BET’s hit show “The Game” would not be returning to the sixth season of the series. Today, Tia spoke to VH1 about the move and though the shakeup seems sudden, she insisted that she and the network made a mutual decision to part ways.
