On his new album
“This is one of my favorite albums I’ve ever been a part of. It definitely put me in a mind state of Be or one of those albums that I’ve done where it’s just Hip Hop music that touches your soul. But it’s still on its own level too… We’re delivering some classics.”
On co-starring in the new show “Hell On Wheels”
It’s about the building of the Transcontinental Railroad. It’s 1865, so it’s like the “shoot ‘em up” days, but it’s really dealing with the issues of today.”
On releasing his autobiography One Day It Will All Make Sense
“The things that I do, I always want to inspire. I felt like doing a book, I could motivate some people. Some people could read some of the stories and not only be entertained but also be inspired to do something. Because I know I was inspired when I read Malcolm X’s autobiography.”
You can pre-order The Dreamer, The Believer now on iTunes before it’s released on December 20.
