For the 4th straight week, the James Cameron directed movie Avatar came in at #1 at this weekend’s box office, earning $48.5 million. Since it’s premiere, the alien flick has made $429 million. Sherlock Holmes, Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel, Daybreakers, and It’s complicated round out the top 5 movies of the weekend.
